Effects of Molecular Crowding in Actin Dynamics

I work with several other lab members studying the effect of PEG-8000 on the binding of Actin and Thymosin β4. The rational behind this being that the cytoplasm is not a static medium and has a varying make-up depending on the specific location. The cell might use take advantage of this gradient to elicit different reactions from the same protein.
